2008 Cocina Blend 90 Points, Wine Advocate (Aug 2009) Issue WA # 184
Purple-colored, bouquet of cinnamon, Dentyne gum, cigar box, violets, black cherry, and blueberry.
2007 Cocina Blend 89 Points, Wine Spectator (Oct 31st 2008)
Very up front, with mocha and fruitcake aromas leading the way for a creamy-textured palate of fig, melted licorice and dark plum fruit. The round finish lets the toast and fruit linger.
2007 Cocina Blend 87 Points, Stephen Tanzer (Feb 2009)
Good deep ruby-red. Very ripe aromas of dark fruits, mocha and nutty oak; got a bit fresher with air. Quite sweet and easy to drink, with a creamy texture to the dark berry and spicy oak flavors.
2007 Cocina Blend Best Buy, Wine and Spirits (Feb 2009)
While oak leads in this fresh and juicy blend of malbec, bonarda and syrah, there is plenty of mouthwatering fruit in the background
